I posted a while ago I was waiting for a twin for my Eva Helland Kaya reborn.
Well Kyra has now arrived, but I can't see them as twins because of the discrepancy in their body size.
They are by the same artist, that's the thing. I don't think she's a member here, and I have no wish to upset her.
Kaya was won on ebay from her, and I later contacted her to order Kyra. I have looked at her feedback and she got the Kyra kit with body included which I think is the problem.
I have ordered another body, do you think she will react okay if I ask her to change the body?

Edited to add I have now contacted the reborn artist, she understands my concerns and agrees she wasn't keen on the free body that came with the kit, and is going to put her right for me!

You can only ask, so I would try. However I would say it's very normal for one twin to be larger than the other twin, so if you're happy with the babies apart from that don't let the size difference put you off

oh my ,the body on the baby on the right looks far too big ,i would ask ,theres no harm in it ,especially if they were bought of the same seller lol magsbk

My they do look different in every way but then most twins do unless they are identical lol

I agree with mags the body is too big

You could change that yourself thou its easy enough to do - unless your reborner is going to let you off the cost of the new body and postage both ways of course - but i doubt she will do that and you could be looking at another £50 with postage etc

Yes I suppose it is normal for one twin to be bigger than the other, I think it's the body I don't like, it isn't jointed and the arms seem to hang too low.
Kaya & Kyra have such delicate limbs I think a slimmer body looks better.
I am happy with Kyra apart from the body.
Just wondered if other reborn artists would be offended by being asked to change the body?
On reflection I probably should have bit the bullet and asked the artist first. The last thing I would ever do is knowingly upset anyone. I am just not like that.

I think I will pay for the body and postage and see what she says about that.

I have however also ordered a body for my grumpy Berenguer and am going to have a go at that!

lol i had to change a lot of my bodies before i found mandy lol - i loved baby fat in mine gor quite the expert in the end - bodies are easy but rooting and painting --- urm --- no thanks !!
