My Alfie is a real terror for settling with the dolls............. he's deaf and far more brazen than the other one......than any other one I've ever had actually.... must be his pedigree roots he's a birman/tonkinese cross ...... real fluffball when startled and surprisingly a real chatterbox always chirriping and miowing

good night God bless............. my Mum always said that to us when we were young........... my Dan still says it to me if he rings late

not all white cats are apparently he's unusual because as a kitten he had about 6-10 black hairs on his head and now has a black beauty spot on his nose, he also has green eyes blue is the normal deaf clour, I've been told the black should have stopped the deafness. The girl who bred him crosses pedigrees, his siblings had red points he was the only pure white one and not what she wanted. I stepped on an air bag packing pouch and he was startled so I think he might have a little hearing but he doesn't hear most of the time he never wakes up when you come in unless you put the light on or knock the chair. He also doesn't bother about knocking things over because of the noise they make. I have book of cat phrases one of them says
"in ancient times cats were worshipped............... cats have never forgotten this"

now he's really taking liberties I only went out for a couple of minutes looks like the bed needs filling top to tail




and he's not the only one She's in on the act now

Awww, I just love your white puss and how comfy and snuggly he looks too ....lol

I used to have a white puss she was the most loving cat ever and used to follow me everywhere. She wasnt deaf, but she did get skin cancer on her ear tips, which eventually spread.......she was a big age when she finally passed away, but apparently its something to watch for in white cats as they dont have the pigment to protect them from the sun when they are playing outside xxxx

Fee apparently pigs kept outside often have to have suncream on their ears for the same reason.

I live in flat so he doesn't go out, he'd be dead if he did he's got no fear of anything.

Your cat is beautiful. We had a white cat,not deaf he was lovely used to follow us down the road. He was a hunter and often brought us presents home! He died three years ago but is thought of alot he was a real character.
He would snuggle up with anything!
