Okay, I'm still something of a 'newbie' around here, but just have to ask! Why is it that when you click on some of the forum threads, you only get "The Forumer" ad? dollchitchat/AddEmoticons00114.gif

I don't know why you get the Forumer ad,but i will try and find out some info ok.

Thanks, Liz! I thought maybe this was something endorsed by you and didn't want to offend anyone. But it happens rather often and is a little disappointing when you think you're clicking on an interesting thread and all you get is this advertisement.

I spend most of my time in the "Himmie Time" section where I've noticed this, but it could apply in other sections, as well.

I have it quite alot some days more than others and it doesn't happen in any particular category it can be any .

I have found that if I come onto DCC through internet explorer or firefox it is alot better and hardly ever happens , might be worth a go ??

If you are with AOL the forum is not compatible with it but IE and Firefox are better.
Still trying to find info so i can bring you the right answer.

Hi Liz yes I am with AOL and never used to be able to post on here at all unless through IE but when AOL was upgrsded recently it made it alot better most of the time it's okay like now , but through firefox I never have any problems apart from a tendency to double post when submitting the post .

Yes, I am on AOL too (most current version) and have never had any problems with this forum.

Liz, don't sweat it -- I just thought if the ad was NOT sponsored by you that you'd want to know about it.
