ok last night at 5:00am my birds all had manic flapping round the cages, and i don't know if you know if one goes they all go, my dvd rack had fallen over ,so i was up didn't get back to sleep till 6:00 when hermione woke up because of all the fussing going on in my room so this morning when i needed to get up i couldn't

i got home and thought i need to let the new love bird out , well he has been out for over an hour now because i cant get him back him he is sat on my neck all chung and warm with no intention of going back in, i cant pick minnie up with him there lol, i have tried l;earring him by moving something further and further away, but he sees it coming jojo my tile falls for it every single time,

so i really don't know what to do i am having a bad day, as nice as it is to have her on me and showing me love, i need food and drink, my kitchen has a open window, well not open its broken and if i go in i worry she might fly out, oh help all i want is t have a coffee and some toast, i am so tired and annoyed right not just with the bird bless him and not with the dvd rack, everything has just got on top of me and the love bird is like the very colorful icing on top of the cake

sorry to rant, right now i just want to shack the bird off i have 2 cages i can put her in lucky but she is going in either of them :(

try creeping out and shutting the door behind you.............you'll feel better after the coffee and toast and a match for any loose love bird

Aww Abi I know it's not funny to you...but all I can see in my head is how sweet your bird is clinging to you for reassurance!

Hope your lovely bird has regained his confidence now!

i wil admit i now feel awwfull, i have shut her in a parrot cage its huge and she is only a tiny love bird i might put sme toys up in there for her

Well Abi I see you've managed to get her back in a cage. ...if it happens again-your gonna have to get sneeky and either get a net (like a fish net scoop) or a quick cloth over her and gently grab her -you cant keep losing time-trying to get a bird back in its home.

thanks jackie, the breeder has informed me she has a hard time geting her back in too lol, jojo the cockatile seeds food and eats it i put a sunflower seed on my hand and she walks down my arm in to the cage silly billy, i think i will keep him in this big cage, he is sat on the swing happy and nearly falling a sleep i think i willwait till after breakfast next time lol,

Your bird sounds like my CATS!

Sashie is ALWAYS following me around like a little puppy. If I'm peeing, she is watching. If I'm showering she is outside the door waiting. If I'm not home she is by the door waiting. And now, Hime has started the same thing!

I love them to pieces, but gosh, it's no fun tripping over them or not being able to sleep because they are hogging the bed.

And silly me was thinking they need a little sister in 2009... I don't know if I could handle three.

i think she does love me, my cockatile is gogin thorugh a hormonal stage, if i had known they go thorugh that i wouldnt have got one, he is a nightmare so mush so i cant get him out of the cage at the moment, but i handle him inside the cage so he stays tame,

mrs lovett tryed to escape from her cage the other day, so im gunna have to buy a smaller bared cage lol, i might try and let him out today if i let himout with the attitude of not wanting him bakc in the cagei should be fine i am having my breakfast now so just lunch to worrie about lol
